How to Use the Repost Feature on TikTok

TikTok Repost is a new feature on TikTok app which is not yet rolled out but still on testing. The feature is available to some users and other users will have to wait till when the repost feature will be fully rolled out.

The TikTok Repost button acts like a "retweet" of Twitter. You can easily share your favorite video with your followers. To check whether you're among those that can use the repost feature now, tap the "share" button on TikTok video in you "For You" feed, and the new repost button will appear.

TikTok "Repost" allow you to share video you watched on the app with your mutual followers with the tap of a single button.

Now, this Repost feature works in the sense that when you reposted a video, it won't post as your content, the original creator will still get any like or comments the video received. Meanwhile, you can add comments to the video when reposting it.

How to Repost TikTok Video?

To repost a video on TikTop app is a very simple thing to do. Follow the below instructions to repost a video on TikTok.

• First and foremost, you need to update your TikTok app to see whether the repost button will appear. (Only for those that don't see the repost button on their share page).

• On the "For You" Feed, tap on "Share" button and it will take you to where you can share the video in various ways. One of the options, you will see a "Repost" button in yellow colour before your contact.

• Click on "Repost" to share the video on your wall. Also you can add you caption (comments) when posting, but note, all the like and comments the video received will be directed to the original creator.

Thanks to TikTok that brings this beta feature to the app community. The Repost Feature definitely act like Twitter Retweet. Instead of ripping creators video yourself, you'll share it to your followers with just a click of a button.
